The Spring Meeting

The Spring meeting is held over a weekend at Royal West Norfolk Golf Club in Brancaster, north Norfolk about 15 miles from Kings Lynn. RWNGC is generally reckoned to be one of the most scenically beautiful courses in the country as well as being as fine a test of traditional golf as you will find anywhere in the country. This has been recognised by 'the experts' when they rated it at number 35 in Golf World's top 100 course some 5 places above its more famous neighbour Hunstanton.

Most people come for both days but you are more than welcome to come for either the Saturday or the Sunday. Accommodation is arranged in a local hostelry. Several of those attending tend to meet in hostelry a few drinks and an evening meal on the Friday night. This has the added value of getting the liver into training for the weekend!

		Singles: Scratch medal for the Higginson cigarette box Handicap stableford for the Spring cup and the Senior's Prize
		Lunch in the clubhouse
		Handicap foursomes stableford for the Spring Foursomes
		Dinner in a local hostelry
	Sunday
		Handicap foursomes stableford
		Lunch in the clubhouse
		Optional singles stableford
		Carriages

All in all an excellent weekend combining a feast of golf on one of the countries finest links courses in the beautiful isolation of the north Norfolk coast with as convivial group of people as you could wish to find.
